BRAGGING RIGHTS

By Taylor Congdon December 18, 1997

If you are into aggressive mountain biking, ultra fast paced editing, experiencing the weird side of many of the big name off road bikers, watching other people in pain, all set to an incredible sound track- you will be wanting this movie in a big way. Made by agro mountain bikers for agro mountain bikers. January 1st New Years resolution: watch Bragging Rights until it wears you out.

Who's in it: It's a real freak show, with all the usuals, Low Pants (Brian Lopes), Pizalm (Shaun Palmer), Mert (Joe Lawill), Woodland/Bakersfield Local Todd Snider, Cully (Dave Cullinan) going huge in Hollywood, Max Nelson, Cory Never, Waylon Smith, John Tomac, Shaums March, and everybody that's anybody throwing down style you wish you had, and hurting themselves in ways you hope never happens to you. You will get "up-close-and-personal", with the current crop of freaks that have turned off-road cycling into a career. Lucky bastards.

Where it goes: Follow the boys and girls as they wreak havoc in a super steep full throttle downhill coast-to-coast adventure, visiting lots of bitchen spots you wish you could go to. Experience on and off track scenes at the NORBA Nationals, as seen from the side of the snow fence you always get kicked out of. Take a ride to the fun zone with crazy skits and totally outrageous mountain biker behavior.

What it's not: You are probably saying, "not another video full of those freeriding vidiots". It's not. And it's not made by an outside kook. The producer, Taylor Congdon, is a pro rider who has succeeded, lucky for you, in setting a new standard in aggressive mountain bike movies.

Listen to the music: You couldn't have asked for a better soundtrack, with Blink 182, Lard,Rubberneck, Headcrash, Sublime, Strungout, Snuff, The Beatnuts, The Egg, and songs from Attack of The Tentacles. You will be pedaling full speed to your local music store to find more of these incredible tunes.
